Herbal remedies for
illnesses
When herbs are used for combating
illnesses, they are often combined to give the user the benefits of each herb, as well as
boost the other herbs in the body.
Although there are many different combinations that can be used, some of the more popular herbal
combinations are listed below. The herbal combinations can be used in any form,
including teas,
tinctures, and capsules. When measuring the blend of herbs, you should use equal parts of
each herb with equal parts of the booster
herbs.
It is
important to remember the following key points if you are taking herbs for
healing benefits:
• A proper diet is very important
in the herbal healing
process.
• The herbal combinations are not meant to be used in the
place of a doctor’s advice.
• Herbs should not be taken
over a long
period of time or daily because the body may build up an immunity to the
herb
or cause marked side effects.
• Herbs are medicine and should always be treated
as such.
When antibiotic herbs or prescription antibiotics, the
natural bacteria in our digestive system is destroyed, it can make digestion
difficult for several days to several weeks. In order to combat this, you should
eat fresh, real yogurt daily or take acidophilus or probiotic capsules to
restore the natural digestive bacteria into your body.
When using an herb or herbal combination, you should start
with a small amount, and then wait a few hours to make sure you are not going to
have an adverse reaction. If there are any signs of any adverse reactions, stop
ingestion of the herbs.
The following is not a complete
list of herbal remedies. It is simple a small selection with general ideas for cures of common ailments.
The list is not meant to diagnose symptoms of any kind, its purpose is to inform
